Rob Siddoway

Associate Attorney

1My first exposure to the law was in high school twenty years ago when I worked for my uncle’s law firm in Mesa, Arizona. I would go in everyday after school to file documents, run errands, and transcribe memos – it was a great job and it exposed me to a lot of neat experiences – I didn’t realize at that time how influential that would be in my choice to go to law school later on. In my undergraduate and graduate work in college I found that I had a knack for personal finance, so I pursued everything I could on personal financial planning eventually earning an MBA in financial planning and becoming a Certified Financial Planner®. Throughout school and after graduation I have worked in banking, personal investment coaching, higher education funding, and even up to the present day where I run and operate an independent financial planning and wealth management practice.

After the first few years of building my financial practice and helping people plan for their futures, I started to notice that my client’s questions and problems were getting more complex. I realized at that point I needed to go to law school and immerse myself in the world of estate planning. While in law school I found a great mentor who would include me in his estate planning cases and would let me help draft client documents. Through my financial planning and estate planning experience I have finally been able to get a clear picture of what clients really need and how to best help them. For a long time I have watched as clients work with financial advisors but never address their estate planning issues – and recently, I have seen clients build great estate plans but neglect to address their financial planning needs. Now, I help clients see the importance of both financial and estate planning and how everything works together. Being part of Dana and Associates allows me to help clients get quality estate planning as well as assist them in the coordination of their financial and estate plans. I am excited to work with a firm that is so client-focused and forward thinking.

Personal Information
My wife Brittany and I were married in Los Angeles in 2003 and we have two beautiful daughters, Sienna who is 4, and Ellie who is 2. The two girls are so full of energy and life – it can be hard to keep up sometimes! They love coloring, play dough, anything to do with Disney princesses, and playing outside. I love to travel, and I especially love to get outdoors and go hiking, camping, boating, or fishing.
