J. Kyle Scoresby, Divorce and Family Law Attorney – Of Counsel
Mr. Scoresby has been practicing law for over 27 years. In 1986, Mr. Scoresby graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In April of 1989, he earned his Juris Doctor degree as he graduated fourth in his class from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Mr. Scoresby was a member of the Law Review for two years and served as Lead Note and Comment Editor during his final year of law school. He was inducted into The Order of the Coif and graduated magna cum laude.
Following law school, Mr. Scoresby joined the international law firm of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher in San Diego, California. He was admitted to the California Bar in December, 1989. In May, 1990, Mr. Scoresby was admitted to the Arizona Bar and moved to Arizona later that year. He began practicing family law in Arizona in 1991. Mr. Scoresby is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in the Southern District of California and in the Arizona District, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
A native of Mesa, Arizona, Mr. Scoresby graduated from Westwood High School in 1982. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chile, from 1983-1985. He resides in Mesa, Arizona with his wife, Karen, and two of their four children. He is an Ironman Triathlon finisher and two-time Boston Marathon finisher. He has also competed in many other running, triathlon and biking events.
